second wind bunting

Bunting with a past life.

Ready to hire for your next event.

Once, these were street flags.

Flying high above festivals, parades, arts weeks and campaigns.
They’ve done their civic duty—now they’re ready to party.
We cut and sew them into long, colourful runs of bunting.
Strong. Weatherproof. Designed to be hired again and again.

We post you the bundle.
You hang it. Celebrate.
Then pop it back in the pre-paid satchel.

Simple. Sustainable. Stress-free.

Like a good guest:
shows up dressed, dances hard, leaves no mess.

built to last

These banners were made to survive storms, mayors, and Monday pack-downs.
Now they’re living their best afterlife—as bold, beautiful bunting with loops at each end and a whole lot of stories stitched in.

Every length is one of a kindEvery hire keeps good material in motionEvery return sends it onward to the next celebration

Questions & answers

How does it arrive?
In a neat bundle with loops, joiners, rope, a care card, and a prepaid return satchel. Too easy.
When does it arrive?
For a classic Friday–Sunday event, we aim to get your bunting to you by Wednesday or Thursday. Friday’s our backup plan — but we like to be early, not sweaty.
How do I hang it?
Use the loops at either end to secure it to something sensible—just don’t stick or stab it. We include some reusable joiners to get you started although these are recommended for used indoors or outdoors on calm days.
Why the creases?
Because it’s real. A little worn, well-travelled, and ready to party again. They soften when hung and no one notices.
What if it gets dirty?
Give it a shake and send it back—we’ll handle the clean-up.
What if it rains?
No worries. Just let it dry fully before packing. Damp bunting = mould drama.
What if it’s late or damaged?
We’ll deduct from your bond if needed. Nothing sneaky, just keeping the loop going.
Do you have Public Liability Insurance?
Second Wind Bunting holds $20 million Public Liability Insurance. Certificates of Currency available on request.
Can I hire for longer?
Yep! The base hire is 3 days (plus mailing time). Let us know your dates—we’ll quote accordingly.
Can I hire more than one style—and get a discount?
Go wild. The more the merrier. Our prices are fixed but we promise they are already good value.
When do I need to post it back?
We get it — events are full on, and decor is often the last thing packed up. But to keep the bunting loop alive, please pop it in the post by Tuesday after your event.
We always leave a weekend gap between bookings to give time for returns, checks, and cleaning if needed. That only works if returns come back on time. Your part in this cycle keeps it flowing for the next celebration. Thanks for helping make it all work.
